Pilsa (the "App") establishes and discloses the following privacy policy to protect users' personal information and to comply with applicable laws.

1. Personal Information We Collect

The App may collect the following personal information to provide its services:

• Sign-in information (Google Sign-In): email address, display name, and profile image URL — used to identify the user and to display authorship of posts. Users who continue as a guest are issued only an anonymous identifier; the items above are not collected.
• Uploaded images: the source photos and handwriting verification photos that the user explicitly uploads — used for AI sentence generation, OCR matching, and timeline sharing.
• Authored text: AI-generated sentences, comments posted on timeline entries, and similar content.
• Usage records: interaction data such as likes and comments, plus minimal logs needed for diagnostics.

2. Purposes of Use

• Identity and account management: sign-up and sign-in via Google account.
• AI sentence generation: the uploaded photo is sent to an external AI model (an OpenAI-compatible provider) to generate a matching sentence.
• Handwriting verification: the handwriting photo is analyzed by an OCR model to determine whether it matches the sentence.
• Safety review: images shared to the public timeline are reviewed by an AI model to block inappropriate content.
• Service operation: displaying user interactions such as posts, comments, and likes.

3. Sharing and Processors

The App does not sell or rent users' personal information. However, within the scope necessary to provide the service, the following processors are used:

• Google (Firebase Authentication): authentication.
• OpenAI-compatible AI providers: images and text are temporarily transmitted for sentence generation, OCR, and safety review.
• Storage (DigitalOcean Spaces): storage of user-uploaded images.
• Vercel: hosting of this website.

Apart from the above, personal information is provided only when required by law or pursuant to lawful procedures by investigative authorities.

4. Retention and Disposal

• Uploaded images:deleted alongside the corresponding handwrit when the user deletes it; copies sent to AI providers are disposed of according to each provider's policies.
• Account deletion: when a user requests account deletion or the purpose of collection has been fulfilled, the corresponding information is destroyed without delay.
• Legal retention: information that must be retained by law is kept securely for the required period.

5. User Rights

Users may at any time view or modify their personal information and may withdraw consent to its use by deleting their account.
