Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the relationship between Pilsa (the "App") and its users with respect to the photo-based sentence generation and handwriting verification service (the "Service"), setting out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of each party.

Article 2 (Definitions)

• "Service" means all features provided by the App, including photo upload, AI sentence generation, handwriting verification, timeline sharing, comments, and likes.
• "User" means any individual who uses the Service under these Terms.
• "Handwrit"(필사) means the bundle of an uploaded source photo, the AI-generated sentence matching that photo, and the user's handwriting photo verifying the sentence.

Article 3 (Effect and Modification)

• These Terms take effect when posted on the Service or otherwise announced to users.
• The App may amend these Terms within the bounds of applicable law, and will give prior notice of the effective date and reasons for any change.

Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Service)

• The App provides services such as photo upload, AI sentence generation, handwriting OCR matching, timeline sharing, and external link sharing.
• The App may change or suspend the contents of the Service, in which case it will notify users in advance.

Article 5 (User Obligations)

• Users must comply with applicable laws, these Terms, and any usage guidance, and must not interfere with the operation of the App.
• Users must not impersonate others or use the Service through improper means.
• Users must not upload photos that infringe on the copyrights or portrait rights of others, nor share inappropriate content (obscene, violent, hateful, etc.).

Article 6 (App Obligations)

• The App will not engage in conduct prohibited by applicable law or these Terms or contrary to public morals, and will use its best efforts to provide the Service stably and continuously.
• The App will establish and comply with a privacy policy to protect users' personal information.

Article 7 (Restriction of Use)

If a user violates obligations under these Terms or interferes with the normal operation of the Service, or if a post is judged inappropriate by safety review, the App may block the post or restrict the account's use of the Service.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

• The App is exempt from responsibility for providing the Service when it cannot do so due to a natural disaster, force majeure, or equivalent cause.
• The App is not responsible for service issues caused by reasons attributable to the user.
• Results of AI-based sentence generation and handwriting verification are provided for reference only; the App does not guarantee the accuracy of AI judgments.

Article 9 (Dispute Resolution)

Disputes between the App and users are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and jurisdiction follows the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
